on canton fair center

i am mr aosiman tuohesun , from yiwu city , the yiwu oou import and export co.,ltd founder , August 17, 2024,The 136th China Import and Export Fair (Canton Fair) was in full swing at the China Import and Export Fair Complex in Pazhou, Guangzhou. I wandered through various exhibition areas immersively, not only admiring innovative products in the cross-border e-commerce sector but also gaining a clear insight into the industry’s future trends. As a core platform for new foreign trade formats, this session featured a dedicated 800-square-meter cross-border e-commerce exhibition zone, where platforms such as Amazon and TikTok Shop gathered with 34 service providers, making the event an excellent window to grasp industry trends and connect global resources.

The upsurge of cross-border live streaming in the exhibition areas was striking. Many enterprises set up professional equipment in front of their booths, with hosts showcasing products in real time to global audiences in multiple languages. From functional demonstrations of 3C digital products to scenario-based presentations of home goods, live streaming cameras enabled “Made in China” to reach overseas consumers directly. During my stop, I witnessed a home furnishing enterprise receiving small-batch trial orders from Southeast Asian customers on the spot via TikTok Live — this “real-time interaction + instant conversion” model has become a new growth driver for cross-border sales.

Innovative products at various booths further confirmed industry trends: flexible supply chain solutions brought by platforms like SHEIN support “small-batch quick response” to meet personalized demands; the application of AI product selection tools and AR virtual try-on devices has made cross-border transactions more efficient and intuitive. I reached cooperation intentions with multiple enterprises, including suppliers of green and eco-friendly packaging, cross-border live streaming service providers focusing on emerging markets, and a smart logistics company with which I finalized an overseas warehouse collaboration plan covering the entire link from product display to fulfillment and delivery.

After in-depth exchanges, I am more convinced that the future of cross-border e-commerce lies in “online-offline integration + technology empowerment + localized operations.” The Canton Fair has deeply linked traditional manufacturing with new cross-border formats, while live streaming and other forms have broken time and space barriers. Green compliance and brand-oriented overseas expansion have become inevitable directions. With fruitful cooperation results and industry insights, I truly feel that this grand event is not only a showcase for products but also an incubator for the collaborative upgrading of the cross-border e-commerce industry, injecting strong momentum into our journey toward the global market.
