I. Childhood and Technological Enlightenment

I am Osman Tohsun, 36 years old. My technological journey began with the curiosity about the computer world during my childhood. While other children were playing with traditional toys, I was deeply attracted by that computer which emitted a mysterious aura. In those days, the computer was still a novelty for most people, but for me, it was like a treasure waiting to be explored.

I still remember the first time I turned on the computer. The blinking indicator lights and the black – and – white screen were like opening a door to an unknown world. Initially, I was only interested in simple games and drawing programs, but soon, this interest extended to deeper aspects of the computer. I started to wonder how the computer ran these programs and how those codes and instructions made the computer react so wonderfully.

My parents noticed my obsession and encouraged me to study further. With the support of my family, I had more opportunities to access computer – related books and materials. The books on basic computer knowledge borrowed from the library became my most precious treasures during my childhood. I devoured the content about the hardware composition and software principles of the computer. Although some of the knowledge was obscure to me at that time, I never gave up my enthusiasm for exploration.

II. In – depth Study of Computer Software and Hardware

As I grew older, my thirst for knowledge became stronger, and I began to systematically study computer software and hardware knowledge. In terms of software, I started with the most basic programming languages. When learning the BASIC language, I would spend a whole day in the small code – editing interface, repeatedly debugging the program just to see the expected running results. The sense of achievement every time the code ran successfully became the driving force for me to move forward.

The study of operating systems fascinated me even more. The Windows operating system is like a vast and complex kingdom. I delved into it, exploring its file system, registry, and various system settings. I would try to repair those malfunctioning Windows systems, gradually accumulating rich troubleshooting experience by analyzing blue – screen codes and finding the causes of failures. At the same time, I also did not overlook Linux, this open – source treasure. Starting with different distributions such as Ubuntu and CentOS, I immersed myself in the command – line world of Linux. I learned to use various commands to manage files, install software, and configure servers. The feeling of controlling the entire system through the command line made me deeply appreciate the charm of Linux.

In hardware learning, I was like an obsessed explorer. I would disassemble old computers and carefully study each hardware component. From the pins of the CPU to the dense circuits on the motherboard, from the gold – plated fingers of the memory module to the internal structure of the hard disk, I explored them one by one. I understood the performance parameters of different CPUs, knew how to select the appropriate motherboard according to requirements, understood the impact of memory frequency and capacity on system performance, and was also clear about the characteristics of different types of hard disks in terms of read – write speed and data storage. Moreover, I was also keen on studying the heat dissipation problem of hardware, creating the best heat dissipation environment for computer hardware by experimenting with different combinations of cooling fans and heat sinks.

III. Delving into Network Technology

Network technology is another important part of my technological field. I started learning from basic network knowledge, understanding basic concepts such as network topology and IP address allocation. As my study deepened, I began to research network protocols, especially the TCP/IP protocol suite. I deeply understood the functions and working principles of each layer of the protocol, as if unlocking the mysterious code of network communication.

In terms of enterprise network architecture design, I carefully planned the network layout according to the scale and requirements of different enterprises. For small – sized enterprises, I would design a simple and efficient network architecture to meet daily office and basic business needs. For large – sized enterprises, I would consider various factors such as network scalability, high availability, and security. I would reasonably plan VLANs (Virtual Local Area Networks) to isolate the network traffic of different departments, improving network security and management efficiency.

Configuring routers, switches, and firewalls is a key aspect of network technology. I am proficient in the configuration methods of various brands and models of routers and switches. By setting access control lists (ACLs), port security, and other functions, I enhance network security. For the configuration of firewalls, I can accurately allow or deny network traffic according to the enterprise’s security policy to prevent attacks and intrusions from external networks. At the same time, I have also deeply studied Virtual Private Network technology to provide enterprises with secure remote office solutions. By setting up a Virtual Private Network  server, enterprise employees can securely access the company’s internal network resources anywhere with a network connection.

The maintenance of network equipment is also an important part of my work. I regularly check and maintain routers, switches, and wireless access points. I will check the running status of the equipment and view log files to timely detect potential problems. When a network failure occurs, I can quickly locate the fault point. Whether it is a damaged network cable, equipment failure, or configuration error, I can quickly solve the problem through rich experience and professional tools to ensure the normal operation of the network.

IV. Mastery of Operating Systems

(1) Master of Windows Operating System

In the field of the Windows operating system, I have reached a very high level. I can not only skillfully install and configure various versions of the Windows operating system but also optimize it for different hardware platforms. For complex system problems, I have a unique set of diagnostic and solution methods.

In dealing with the Windows Server environment, I can easily handle the configuration of various server roles, such as domain controllers, file servers, print servers, etc. I know how to set user permissions and group policies to ensure data security and access control in the enterprise network. I can monitor the performance indicators of the server, such as CPU usage, memory usage, disk I/O, etc. through performance monitoring tools, and conduct performance optimization based on these data. For example, when I find that the memory usage of a certain server is too high, I will analyze which process occupies a large amount of memory and then solve the problem by adjusting memory allocation or optimizing related services.

I have also deeply studied the update mechanism and security patch management of the Windows operating system. I know how to deploy security updates for the Windows systems in the enterprise network in a timely manner without affecting the normal operation of the business to prevent the system from being threatened by the latest security risks. At the same time, I can also handle various problems that occur during the Windows system update process, such as update failures and blue – screen errors. I can make the system recover normal by manually repairing the registry and replacing damaged system files.

(2) Expert in Linux Operating System

The Linux operating system occupies an important position in my technological world. I have an in – depth understanding of different Linux distributions, from Red Hat, Debian to Arch Linux, etc. I can skillfully use command – line tools to complete various system management tasks.

In terms of file system management, I am familiar with common Linux file systems such as ext4 and XFS. I can create, mount, and unmount file systems through command – line tools, and can also solve file system failures, such as file system corruption and insufficient disk space. In user and permission management, I know how to create and manage user accounts, user groups, and set the permissions of files and directories to ensure system security and data confidentiality.

Writing shell scripts is an important skill of mine in the Linux operating system. I can write shell scripts to achieve automated tasks, such as system backup, software installation, and log analysis. These scripts not only improve work efficiency but also reduce possible errors caused by human operations. For example, I wrote a shell script for daily scheduled backup of important data. It will automatically compress the data in the specified directory and store it on a remote server to ensure the security and recoverability of the data.

In Linux server deployment, I can quickly set up various types of servers, such as Web servers (using Apache, Nginx, etc.), mail servers (using Postfix, Dovecot, etc.), and database servers (using MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.). I know how to optimize the performance of the server by adjusting parameters and installing cache mechanisms to improve the response speed and processing capacity of the server.

(3) Expert in MacOS Operating System

The MacOS operating system attracts me with its unique design and user experience. I have deeply studied the core technology and functions of MacOS. In terms of file management, I have mastered the file system structure of MacOS and the use of the Finder. I know how to use the tag function to quickly classify and find files, and through Quick Look, I can quickly preview the content of various types of files without opening the corresponding application programs.

In application management on MacOS, I understand the operation mechanism of the Mac App Store and can help users easily install, update, and uninstall application programs. At the same time, I can also handle compatibility problems that may occur when installing applications from other channels to ensure the stable operation of application programs in the MacOS system. In system customization, I can personalize MacOS according to user requirements. For example, I can adjust the desktop background, the size and position of the Dock, and set the display mode of system notifications to make users have a more comfortable experience when using Mac computers.

In the security field of MacOS, I am familiar with the function and role of Gatekeeper. It can effectively prevent the installation of malicious software by verifying the identity and integrity of the application program developer. I will also guide users to reasonably set user accounts and passwords and enable encryption functions such as FileVault to protect disk data. In addition, I can also help Mac users solve network connection problems, whether it is Wi – Fi connection or wired network connection, to ensure that Mac devices can communicate normally in enterprise networks or home networks.

V. Mastery of Server Operation Technology

Server operation technology is an important manifestation of my technical ability. I am committed to optimizing server performance to ensure that the server can operate efficiently and stably. Through the rational configuration and adjustment of server hardware resources, such as CPU core allocation, memory optimization, and disk I/O scheduling, I can improve the processing capacity of the server. I will use performance monitoring tools to monitor the running status of the server in real – time and analyze the performance bottleneck. For example, when I find that the server responds slowly under high load, I will check whether it is the CPU resource exhaustion or disk I/O problem, and then conduct targeted optimization.

Server clustering and load balancing are important technical fields in server management. I can build a server cluster by combining multiple servers into a cluster system to achieve resource sharing and load balancing. I am familiar with common load – balancing algorithms, such as round – robin, weighted round – robin, and least – connection. According to different business requirements, I will choose an appropriate load – balancing strategy to evenly distribute network traffic to each server, avoiding performance problems caused by excessive load on a certain server. At the same time, I will also configure the high availability of the server cluster. By setting up a redundancy mechanism, when a certain server fails, other servers can automatically take over its work to ensure the continuity of the business.

Virtualization technology plays an important role in server operation. I have mastered virtualization platforms such as VMware, Hyper – V, and KVM. Through virtualization technology, I can create multiple virtual servers on a physical server, improving the utilization rate of server resources. I can create and manage virtual machines, allocate hardware resources such as CPU, memory, and disk to virtual machines. In the virtualization environment, I can also perform operations such as virtual machine migration, backup, and recovery to ensure the security and availability of virtual machines. For example, when it is necessary to maintain a physical server, I can migrate the virtual machines running on it to other physical servers without affecting the normal operation of the business.

VI. Expansion of Graphic Design Skills

Besides the computer technology field, I also show unique talent in graphic design. I have a deep understanding and grasp of different design styles, whether it is simple modern style, retro style, or fashionable trend style. I can flexibly apply them according to the requirements of the project.

In terms of the use of design tools, I am proficient in software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. In Photoshop, I can edit, composite, and process special effects of images. I can optimize image quality by adjusting parameters such as color balance, contrast, and brightness, and create amazing visual effects through techniques such as matting and composition. In Illustrator, I am good at drawing vector graphics. Whether it is beautiful icons, complex illustrations, or brand logos, I can use its powerful drawing tools and rich graphic libraries to achieve them. For InDesign, I can skillfully perform layout design. Whether it is books, magazines, or brochures, I can perfectly combine text, images, and graphics to ensure the beauty and readability of the layout.

In brand design, I have created unique brand identities for many enterprises. I will deeply understand the corporate culture, values, and business characteristics, and then convey the corporate personality through the ingenious combination of design elements. From the shape and color of the logo to the choice of font, every detail has been carefully considered to ensure that the brand identity has high recognition and memorability. In advertising design, I will design attractive advertising pictures according to the target audience and promotional purpose of the advertisement. I will use knowledge such as color psychology and composition principles to make the advertisement catch the consumers’ attention in an instant, stimulate their interest and purchase desire. For packaging design, I will consider the product characteristics, protection requirements, and display effect to design a practical and beautiful packaging solution, enhancing the competitiveness of the product on the shelf.

VII. Entrepreneurial Journey: The Birth of a Computer Software and Hardware Repair Shop

In 2007, with years of accumulated technical knowledge and passion for the computer industry, I resolutely decided to start a business and opened my own computer software and hardware repair shop. In the early stage of entrepreneurship, there were many difficulties and challenges. Tight funds were the primary problem. I almost invested all my savings in the preparation of the store, but still had very little money. To save costs, I personally searched for a suitable store location. After comparing many places, I chose a place with relatively low rent but fairly convenient transportation.

I also took care of the store decoration myself. From the design layout to the purchase of decoration materials, every step was filled with my hard work. I hoped to create a professional and comfortable repair environment so that customers could trustingly hand over their computers to me. In terms of equipment procurement, according to my business needs, I purchased some necessary repair tools and detection equipment, such as screwdrivers, multimeters, data recovery tools, etc. At the same time, I also equipped some computer equipment for display and testing.

In terms of personnel recruitment, due to limited funds, there was only me in the beginning. I was both the boss, the technician, and the customer service. From morning till night every day, I was busy in the store, receiving the malfunctioning computers sent by customers, patiently listening to their problem descriptions, and then starting to detect and repair. Every time I successfully repaired a computer and saw the satisfied smile of the customer, I felt extremely gratified, and this became the motivation for me to persevere.

As the store gradually operated, I began to focus on building a good reputation. I deeply knew that a good reputation is the key to the survival and development of an enterprise. Therefore, I always adhered to solving problems for customers with high – quality services and excellent technology. For every computer under repair, I took it seriously. Not only did I repair the fault, but I also conducted a comprehensive inspection and optimization of the computer to ensure that customers could have a better user experience after retrieving their computers. At the same time, I also paid great attention to customer feedback and continuously improved my services according to their suggestions.

VIII. Development and Expansion of the Repair Shop

With my efforts, the business of the repair shop gradually improved. More and more customers began to recognize my technology and services. They not only came to me when they had computer problems themselves but also recommended me to their friends and colleagues. With the increase in business volume, I realized that I needed to expand the scale and service scope of the store.

I started to recruit some skilled repair technicians and provided them with systematic training to make them familiar with my repair process and service standards. At the same time, I also added some new service items, such as data recovery and network equipment repair. To increase the popularity of the store, I made beautiful promotional posters and flyers and distributed them in surrounding communities, schools, and office buildings. I also used Internet platforms to establish the official website and social media accounts of the store, attracting more potential customers by posting some computer repair knowledge and cases.

In terms of the management of the repair shop, I established a complete customer management system and repair record archive. Through the customer management system, I can better track customer information and repair history, and timely provide after – sales services and return visits to customers. The repair record archive details the repair situation of each computer, including fault phenomena, repair processes, and replaced parts. This not only helps to improve repair efficiency but also provides data support for subsequent technical analysis and improvement.

With the continuous development of the store, I also established long – term cooperative relationships with some enterprises. I provided computer equipment maintenance and upkeep services for enterprises, including regular inspections, fault repairs, and system upgrades. The addition of these enterprise customers brought stable business income to the repair shop and also enhanced the brand image of the store.

IX. Technological Innovation and Service Upgrade

During the development of the repair shop, I always paid attention to the latest technological trends in the industry and continuously carried out technological innovation and service upgrades. In software repair, I introduced some advanced software diagnosis and repair tools, which can solve operating system failures, software conflicts, and other problems more quickly and accurately. For some complex virus and malicious software infection problems, I studied the latest antivirus and protection technologies to provide customers with safer solutions.

In the hardware repair field, I continuously updated repair equipment and technology. I invested in purchasing some high – end welding equipment and chip – level repair tools, enabling more precise repair of motherboards, graphics cards, and other hardware. At the same time, I also established cooperative relationships with some hardware suppliers to obtain the latest hardware accessories in a timely manner, improving repair efficiency.

To meet the data security needs of customers, I strengthened data backup and recovery services. Besides traditional hard disk data recovery methods, I also learned and mastered some data recovery technologies for solid – state drives and RAID arrays. I can provide customers with multiple data backup options, such as local backup, off – site backup, and cloud backup, to ensure that customers’ data can be properly protected under any circumstances.

In terms of service experience, I launched on – site repair services and remote assistance repair services. For some customers who are inconvenient to send their computers to the store, I can arrange technicians to repair on – site, providing them with convenient services. Remote assistance repair uses network technology. With the consent of the customer, it remotely connects to the customer’s computer to help them solve some simple problems, saving the customer’s time and energy.

X. Facing Competition and Challenges

With the continuous development of the computer repair industry, market competition has become increasingly fierce. New repair shops are emerging continuously, and Looking back on my years of technical study and entrepreneurial journey, I feel deeply proud. However, I also understand that the development of technology is endless, and my journey continues.

In the future, I plan to further expand the business scope of the repair shop. On the one hand, with the widespread popularity of Internet of Things (IoT) devices, such as smart home devices and smart wearable devices, I intend to add repair services for these new – type devices. I have already started to learn relevant technical knowledge, understand the hardware architectures and software systems of these devices, and prepare to train professional repair personnel. This can not only meet the market demand but also open up new profit growth points for the repair shop.

On the other hand, with the rapid development of cloud computing technology, more and more enterprises and individuals are relying on cloud services. I plan to carry out cloud – related consulting and technical support businesses in the store. For example, I will help enterprises migrate to the cloud, set up and manage cloud servers, and solve problems that occur during cloud storage and cloud computing. At the same time, I will provide personal users with cloud storage security consultation and solutions to cloud device synchronization problems.

In terms of technological innovation, I will keep focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in the computer field. Artificial intelligence has already started to change the way of computer fault diagnosis. I hope to introduce artificial intelligence into our repair process. By establishing fault diagnosis models and using machine – learning algorithms to analyze a large amount of fault case data, faster and more accurate fault diagnosis can be achieved. This can not only improve the repair efficiency but also enhance customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, I also realize the importance of environmental protection in the technology industry. In future operations, I plan to strengthen the recycling and treatment of e – waste. Many old computers and electronic devices contain hazardous substances, and improper treatment will cause serious pollution to the environment. I hope to establish a complete e – waste recycling process, disassemble and reuse the recyclable parts, and safely dispose of the hazardous substances, contributing to the environmental protection cause.

To better cultivate computer technology talents, I also plan to cooperate with local schools and training institutions. I can serve as a guest lecturer to share my practical experience and technical knowledge, helping students and trainees better understand computer hardware, software, network, and repair technology. At the same time, I also hope to set up an internship base in the repair shop to provide practical opportunities for promising students, allowing them to exercise their skills in a real – world working environment and cultivate more professional talents for the industry.

In terms of market promotion, I will increase investment in online marketing. Besides the existing official website and social media platforms, I plan to use short – video platforms to produce interesting and practical video content related to computer technology and repair knowledge. Through vivid video displays, more potential customers will be attracted, and the popularity and influence of the store will be increased. At the same time, I will carry out online – offline combined promotional activities, such as online lottery to give away repair coupons, and offline computer technology lectures and free repair days, to enhance interaction and stickiness with customers.

Facing possible future challenges, such as intensified market competition and faster technological updates, I am full of confidence. Because I have a solid technical foundation, rich entrepreneurial experience, and infinite enthusiasm for the computer industry. I believe that as long as I maintain a spirit of learning and innovation, my repair shop will continue to grow and develop in the constantly changing market environment, provide high – quality technical services to more customers, and make greater contributions to the development and popularization of computer technology.
