Early this morning, I drove to major core business districts in Yiwu to inspect locations for a new store. My journey covered Futian District 1 to 4, Yinhai District 1 to 4, and Yiwu International Trade City Zone 6. I immersed myself in the vibrant commercial vitality and industrial charm of this renowned “World Supermarket”.

Adjacent to the international trade mall, Futian District 1 to 4 is a time-honored commercial hub. The streets are well-organized and lined with numerous shops, bustling with constant pedestrian and vehicle traffic. It boasts a diverse range of commodities, covering daily necessities, ornaments and small processing supplies. Stores here feature reasonable rents and steady customer flow. Supported by sophisticated logistics services, goods can be delivered and dispatched efficiently, making this area ideal for import and export transit and product exhibition. Wandering through the streets and watching busy merchants, I deeply experienced the strong business atmosphere and stable customer base, gaining practical references for store selection.

Bordering Futian, Yinhai District 1 to 4 also serves as a vital part of Yiwu’s core commercial zone. Shops are compactly arranged, mostly in medium and small sizes. The surrounding facilities are complete with abundant catering, accommodation and logistics outlets, alongside convenient transportation networks. It caters perfectly to domestic bulk purchasing and business negotiations with foreign merchants. Plenty of vacant stores are available for lease with flexible layouts, suitable for office work, display and warehousing purposes. Concentrated businesses in the neighborhood facilitate resource connection and industrial communication, rendering it a favorable alternative for commercial store investment.

After finishing the inspection in Futian and Yinhai areas, I headed straight for Yiwu International Trade City Zone 6, a brand-new global digital trade center and a benchmark of Yiwu’s commercial upgrading. Positioned at a high-end level, it presents rich business categories. The first floor specializes in fashion jewelry and garment fabrics, while the second floor gathers skincare, beauty and infant products, with neatly classified high-quality goods on each floor.

Stepping onto the third floor of Zone 6, I was instantly surrounded by a strong technological vibe. This floor functions as a core exhibition area for intelligent equipment and artificial intelligence products. Neatly arranged stores display a dazzling array of high-tech items. Advanced 3D printers are capable of rapidly manufacturing various models and accessories with high precision and diverse styles. Stylish AI glasses integrate intelligent voice control and image transmission functions, applicable to entertainment, office work and outdoor activities. Solar-powered surveillance cameras work without external power supply, featuring long endurance and clear imaging, widely adopted in security monitoring. A great variety of cutting-edge products including drones, intelligent robots and AR&VR devices can also be found here. Merchants enthusiastically introduce product performance and cross-border cooperation solutions, and mass-produced goods are sold to markets worldwide.

Strolling around the third floor, I witnessed Yiwu’s transformation from traditional small commodity trade to integrated development of technology and commerce. This place acts not only as a product showcase, but also a key platform connecting cross-border e-commerce with advanced technologies.

This field investigation helped me learn about the strengths of traditional commerce in Futian and Yinhai, as well as the advantages of technology-driven trade in Zone 6, clarifying the direction for our new store layout and business expansion. Going forward, we will take location, passenger flow and business formats into comprehensive consideration to finalize the optimal store site. Leveraging Yiwu’s powerful commercial resources, we will further explore global markets and elevate the company’s business development to new heights.
