On July 8, 2025, to deepen the supply chain layout of the WorldHub cross-border B2B e-commerce platform in the auto parts sector and facilitate precise connection between Chinese suppliers and high-quality South Asian manufacturers, I was fully responsible for receiving three senior auto parts merchants from Mumbai, India, in Yiwu City. This team specializes in the R&D and production of auto parts, with high-precision fuel injectors as their core products. Relying on stable product performance and highly competitive cost-effectiveness, they have accumulated a number of long-term cooperative key clients in many core cities across China. The purpose of this trip to Yiwu is to conduct on-site inspections of the local auto parts market’s supply and demand pattern, supply chain supporting capabilities, and cross-border trade cooperation potential, laying a foundation for further expanding the Chinese market and radiating to the Central Asian market through the WorldHub platform.

To ensure an efficient and orderly inspection schedule, I formulated a refined reception plan in advance: arranged an exclusive driver to pick up the three merchants at Shanghai Pudong International Airport, provided full closed-loop escort for them to drive to Yiwu urban area, and carefully selected a high-quality business hotel adjacent to Yiwu International Trade City for check-in, ensuring their travel convenience and comfortable rest. During the inspection period (July 8-10), I served as the accompanying translator and business assistant throughout. With professional business English and a solid reserve of auto parts industry terminology, I accurately connected communications between both parties—assisted the Indian merchants in conducting in-depth negotiations with multiple auto parts wholesalers and retailers in Yiwu International Trade City, helping them gain a detailed understanding of the Chinese market’s requirements for fuel injector specifications, procurement volume, price system, and after-sales standards; accompanied them to visit Yiwu Auto Parts Industrial Park, inspected local parts processing, warehousing and logistics, and cross-border customs clearance supporting facilities, intuitively demonstrating Yiwu’s supply chain advantages as a global small commodity distribution center; at the same time, combined with the cross-border trade service capabilities of the WorldHub platform, introduced to them the platform’s entry policies, traffic support, and Central Asian market channel resources for the auto parts category, building a communication bridge for both parties to carry out cross-border cooperation through the platform in the future.
This three-day Yiwu market research work was successfully concluded on July 10. The Indian merchants expressed high recognition for the results of this inspection. They not only accurately grasped the latest dynamics of the Chinese auto parts market but also showed strong interest in Yiwu’s supply chain efficiency and the cross-border connection capability of the WorldHub platform, clearly expressing their willingness to deepen cooperation in the future. This reception and research not only helped the WorldHub platform accumulate high-quality South Asian auto parts supplier resources but also further consolidated the platform’s position as a supply chain hub connecting Chinese suppliers with the Central Asian and South Asian markets, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent expansion of cross-border business in the auto parts category.
